In our first game of the season against Rancho Santa Fe, we lost 25-33, but I was very impressed with the attitude and effort that I saw. This is going to be an amazing season, as I have 17 boys who want to compete and score, but best of all I've got boys who want all of their teammates to succeed.
On a team this large it is easy to get frustrated about how much you are or aren't playing, but the boys are already starting to understand how important (no matter how big or small it may seem) every role is to the team overall.
We have one last chance to play and compete before the long winter break.
The possibilities are endless with this team; it is such a sheer joy for me to coach these boys. I can't wait to see how good we get at the end of the season!
