Why do I rock with Rockford Kinesiology Tape?

Four reasons: Health. Power. Strength. Balance.

Health

To be a good athlete, you must take care of yourself. This gets you thinking about how to treat your body to achieve peak performance levels.

Power

Power gives athletes the explosive ability to run faster and jump higher, and it can be improved by lifting weights, running against resistance and performing plyometric exercises such as depth jumps or medicine ball throws.

Strength

Strength is defined as your muscle's ability to generate force to overcome an external resistance. Since all sports require your muscles to produce force to varying degrees, strength training is necessary to promote success and safety.

Balance

To perform efficient movements across a host of activities and tasks, we need to be able to maintain control of body positioning during static and dynamic activities thus needing good static and dynamic balance.

BENEFITS:

·      Pain relief
·      Reduced swelling and inflammation
·      Accelerated recovery from bruises and contusions
·      Relieves muscle spasms and cramping
·      Speedier recovery of overused muscles
·      Supports injured muscles and joints
·      Allows athletes to remain active while injured
·      Enhances strength and muscle tone

My favorite component of wearing kinesiology tape is the fact that I can leave it on for days at a time, and feel the benefits of 24-hour therapy. While wearing the tape, your muscles feel more actively engaged at all times, and in return that allows for the health, strengthening, power, and balance to be amplified. Plus, don't forget about the blood flow! Circulation is the name of the game.
